"Shawlene" Lace Top/Skirt
This stunning gown has a sleeveless shell of snowflake and floral lace that is lined in satin. The satin ends at the waistline, so it doesn't inhibit the view of the Battenburg laced waistband of the skirt.

The skirt is also made of lace and is satin lined for approximately 16" from the waistband. Where the lining ends, the lace is sheer. Here, the "Shawlene" gets its name: A 100% Chinese silk shawl, embellished with all hand embroidery and hand knotted extra long fringe, is the top layer of this piece. The waistband of the skirt is embellished with long Battenburg lace. The skirt is split on each side approximately 23" from the hemline.
